Where this comes from
I co-founded a mail-order business, helped turn it into an e-commerce company and grew it from zero to a million customers before we sold it. I know what it feels like to build while technology changes the rules.
In 2014 I joined the word ikigai to Andrés Zuzunaga’s existing purpose Venn diagram. That adaptation has travelled far beyond my original blog post, and taught me how a simple image can help people name what they already feel.
Since then: business mentoring, thousands of coffees with strangers, and more than a decade helping a small island, Guernsey, use its smallness as an advantage.
