The Magic Wand Session
Bring the real thing.
The half-formed one. The awkward one. The one that keeps tapping on the glass.
I will bring the wand.
This is 90 concentrated minutes with me around one thing that matters. A business problem. A decision. An opportunity. A transition. A proposition that is not landing. Something you can feel but cannot quite name.
My job is not to give you a generic framework. It is to help us find the thing underneath the thing, and the move that becomes obvious once we can see it.
No deck. No programme. No theatre.
From someone who walked through
"Marc is one of those rare people who genuinely changes the direction of your life without ever forcing it. He sees something in you before you can see it in yourself, and then creates the space for you to grow into it."
John M. Sweeney, Founder, Suspended Coffees. TEDx speaker.
What people often bring
- "Something feels off and I cannot say what."
- "We are growing and losing the thing that made us."
- "There is a decision the board keeps almost making."
- "I am tired of being the only honest voice in the room."
A useful question, on the way in
What tiny experiment would teach you more than six months of meetings?
A few honest questions
- What actually happens in the ninety minutes?
- You bring the thing that is sitting on your chest. I bring a room, a wand, and nothing to prove. We name what is really going on, find the move that is hiding underneath it, and leave you with the next step.
- What kind of thing should I bring?
- Bring the half-formed one. The awkward decision. The transition you cannot announce yet. The board conversation that keeps almost happening. The proposition that is not landing. If you can feel it but cannot quite name it, it is probably the right thing.
- What if I am not sure what the real problem is?
- That is most sessions. The stated problem is rarely the real one. Part of the work is walking past the first answer until we find what is actually asking for attention.
- What happens afterwards?
- You leave with the thing named, the noise reduced, and the next move clearer. There is no deck to file and no homework to complete. The thinking is yours to take away.
